Terms of Service
Last updated: 30 April 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of stream-estate-mcp (the “Service”), a personal hobby project operated by Stream Estate MCP (“we”, “us”). By accessing or using the Service you (“you”, the “user”) agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. About the Service
stream-estate-mcp is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that lets you reach the stream.estate property API from an MCP-compatible AI client (such as Claude Desktop or Claude Code) using your own stream.estate API key. The Service is provided free of charge as a personal, non-commercial open-source project.
We are not affiliated with stream.estate, Anthropic, or any other third party. "stream.estate", "Anthropic", "Claude", and any other marks are the property of their respective owners.
2. Eligibility
You may use the Service only if you are at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction) and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these conditions.
3. Your stream.estate account and credentials
To use the Service, you must hold a valid stream.estate account and provide a valid stream.estate API key on the login form. You are solely responsible for:
- the security and confidentiality of your stream.estate credentials;
- any actions taken using your API key, including any charges, fees, billing consequences, or rate-limit consequences on your stream.estate account;
- complying with stream.estate's own terms of service and privacy policy when using their API through this Service.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, harmful, or abusive purpose;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or any related systems;
- probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service except as part of a coordinated good-faith disclosure;
- send automated traffic or workloads designed to overload, degrade, or disrupt the Service;
- impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity;
- use the Service to violate stream.estate's terms of service or any third-party right;
- circumvent any rate limits or access controls.
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if we reasonably believe you are violating these Terms.
5. Availability
The Service is provided on a best-effort basis. We make no commitment to uptime, availability, or response time. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time, in whole or in part, for any reason, without prior notice and without liability.
6. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, reliability, or uninterrupted operation.
We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any data returned through the Service. Property listings and related data are provided by stream.estate; we have no control over them.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall we be liable for:
- any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages;
- any loss of profits, revenue, business, data, goodwill, or anticipated savings;
- any unauthorized access to or use of your stream.estate account, including any charges, fees, or financial loss arising from API key compromise, misuse, or any cause whatsoever, except to the extent such loss is directly caused by our gross negligence or intentional misconduct.
Our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited, to the extent permitted by law, to one Euro (€1). The Service is provided free of charge; this cap reflects the absence of consideration.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to: your use of the Service; your violation of these Terms; your violation of any third-party right (including stream.estate's terms); or your violation of any law. This indemnification applies only to the maximum extent permitted by law and does not extend beyond the scope permitted against consumers under French consumer law.
9. Intellectual property
The Service's source code is licensed under the MIT License. You are free to fork, modify, and redistribute the code under that license. These Terms do not grant you any rights to any third-party trademarks, including stream.estate, Anthropic, Claude, or others.
10. Privacy
Our processing of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without cause and with or without notice. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law — will survive.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent version. Material changes will be communicated on the login page. Your continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of France, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
For disputes between us and a non-consumer user, the courts of Paris, France shall have exclusive jurisdiction. For disputes involving a user qualifying as a consumer under applicable EU law, the consumer may bring proceedings before the courts of their place of residence, in accordance with mandatory consumer-protection rules (in particular Regulation (EU) No 1215/2012, "Brussels I bis").
EU residents may also use the European Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
14. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a valid provision that most closely reflects the original intent.
15. Entire agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements.
